Over the past 18 months I built a SaaS platform (backend, mobile app, web, AI layer, CI/CD) from scratch as the sole engineer and brought it to closed beta with enterprise customers. Before that I delivered dozens of WordPress, Shopify and .NET web projects for agencies as a freelance developer. ## experience

Founder & Lead Engineer · Ergear Bilişim A.Ş., Istanbul

  • Designed and built PulseSight, a brand and reputation monitoring SaaS for Turkish social media, end to end as the sole engineer: FastAPI + PostgreSQL + Redis backend, Flutter mobile app (App Store TestFlight) and Next.js customer portal. Now in closed beta with enterprise brands.
  • Built an ingestion pipeline that reliably processes ~5,000 data pulls per brand per day using monthly-partitioned post tables and CPU/IO-separated job queues (arq); 65 schema migrations and 1,500+ automated backend tests.
  • Developed the AI layer: Claude Haiku-based sentiment and category classification, four alert families (threshold, spike, viral post, match) and scheduled report generation; kept LLM costs under control with caching and prioritization.
  • Selected the sentiment model through a benchmark on 19,900 real posts; designed an LLM-labeled silver training set and a human-verified gold evaluation set pipeline, aimed at distilling a large model into a small, cheap one.
  • Integrated an enterprise social data provider API, RapidAPI adapters, bank-hosted 3D Secure payments, FCM/APNs push, Microsoft 365 mail and DigitalOcean + Cloudflare deployment; parallel CI on GitHub Actions cut the local gate from 8 min to 2 min.
